Largo, FL –WingHouse restaurant is undoubtedly a Florida staple, known for its great atmosphere, delicious food, thirst-quenching beer and of course the infamous WingHouse Girls.  But the restaurant is less known for the amazing charitable contributions that owner and National Football League (NFL) alumni, Crawford Ker, has been involved in since the restaurant opened its doors 20 years ago.  Now Crawford and the WingHouse team will cement their 20th Anniversary by donating $29,000 to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and they invite your attendance.

All media is invited witness the generous donation that will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22nd at the Ker’s WingHouse corporate office: 7491 Ulmerton Road, Suite B, Largo, FL 33771.

WingHouse’s commitment to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation began in early fall with the spearheading of the Sunshine Campaign in all 22 restaurant locations from October 1st through December 22nd with the goal of raising $100,000 for the foundation. The Sunshine Campaign aims to increase awareness of childhood cancer by encouraging corporate partners, like Ker’s WingHouse, to donate through a percentage of sales, round-up programs and general promotions.

We thank the team at Ker’s WingHouse from the bottom of our hearts. We are proud to have them join us in the fight against pediatric cancer and know their efforts will help tremendously in the fulfillment of our mission” said Nancy Crane, Executive Director of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. “Companies like Ker’s WingHouse truly embody what it means to be a caring corporate citizen.”
